Clear Stamp Basics
At Technique Tuesday, we believe that your photos and your memories should be the highlight of your scrapbooks. To complement your photos and your memories, you need to be able to make page titles, subtitles, and embellishments in the right color and style for your layout. Our clear stamps let you do that. Here’s how.
Technique Tuesday clear stamps come on a storage sheet and are ready to be used. You don’t need to spend time trimming your clear stamps or figuring out how to add a cushion. And you don't have to pay for, store, and carry all those pieces of wood to crops. Instead you can just start creating!
To use Technique Tuesday clear stamps, simply take a clear stamp off the storage sheet and place it on one of our clear blocks. Using our clear stamps you have infinite color choices. Choose an inkpad or scrapbook-safe marker that coordinates with your layout and apply the color to the stamp. Now for the fun part – you're ready to stamp. Technique Tuesday clear stamps are, well... clear. You can see straight through to your layout. Both beginning scrapbookers and seasoned stamp artists can tell when the stamp is in the right position. If you want to stamp faster, place several clear stamps on one of our larger clear blocks, so that you can stamp entire words, phrases or scenes. When you are done stamping, clean your clear stamps. For the most thorough cleaning, and to help preserve and protect your stamps, use Technique Tuesday Clear Stamp Cleaner and a Technique Tuesday Clear Stamp Scrubber. In a pinch, you can use a damp sponge or mild soap and water, and dry the stamps and block with a lint-free cloth. Then peel the stamps off the clear block, and return them to the storage sheet. It’s that easy and lots of fun!
